Military Badge Torque Necklace

There is something about badges that really appeals to me.  I've tidied and updated this one which pre-dates the 1955 period with a backing and edged with small beads.  It's now a pendant to this round torque-style necklace.

The badge is a British Tanker Company officer's cap badge and it features the house flag of the oil company (a St George's cross with a bluey-green diamond).  It is surmounted by a passant guardan lion.  It is constructed using gold bullion embroidery on a padded black background.
